Nestled between breathtaking views of the Sange de Cristo mountains and meadows of Stonewall, the middle fork of the Purgatore River runs right through the property behind the charming mountain cabins, setting an enchanting stage for a romantic outdoor wedding.  For those of you who want a natural, unspoiled and casual wedding reception Middlefork Resort will give you all that and more.   Our venue is perfect for your cocktail hour or outdoor reception as you look out at the panoramic sunset views, relax and breath in the pristine mountain air at 8000ft.  We have 8 furnished cabins for guests to stay and an Italian restaurant on the premises. See our cabin page for information on our cabins.

If you and your guests need to have a relaxing, slow day after the festivities, we offer some of the best trout fishing in our river and lake on the property or at the two public lakes that are 6 miles away. Hiking through our unspoiled natural forests, you can find some of the most beautiful and untouched nature in the area and an abundance of wildlife.
